Coaches Award

Noah was presented with the Coaches award for the 5th graders yesterday!!

Way to go Noah!

A few weeks ago we made a spur of the moment trip down to watch a Diamond backs game.

At the beginning of the game I got a nice surprise when Hayden and Charlotte walked in and sat down!

It was just before Mothers day so this little trip and surprise made my weekend!

We didnt have enough seats to all sit togther so we bought two more seats for Noah and Sawher and they happened to be right in the first row of the section where all the foul balls go. They had a nice time getting to know the man who sits out there and gets those balls. Typically he gets the balls and gives them to fans sitting in that section. It took ALLLL night for ONE foul ball to be hit to him (this is unusual) but of course when it finally came in the 9th inning he handed it straight to Sawyer! Made his night!!

After the ball game they had fire works...

Which made this trip one of the best days ever for Quade!

Easter pageant trip

It was a very Quiet weekend at our house...

the ward took all the youth on a trip to the valley to see the Pageant.

Austin went with the young adults so it was just Quade, Rich and I at home Friday and Saturday.

Friday night the kids saw that pageant

Saturday the boys got to go and do their first baptisms

Taylor pointed out that maybe we need to get them black pants LOL

The girls stayed at one house and the boys stayed at a different house

what a handsome boy...

and then they all went together to the science center

They had a fantastic time!

Special Olympics 2012

Its that time of year again....

we had the pleasure of attending the Special Olympics

Austin took 2nd in the 400 but this little guy jumped up in the #2 spot

so Austin took the #3  position and it was no big deal! love that kid!!!

but that's not the kind of Character were talking about this time...

Sawyer received an award at school for having GOOD Character!!

Its always nice to get a little reassurance that your kids are as awesome as you know they are!

Spring Break....

We did a really quick spring break trip to the valley

went down on Tuesday and back on Wednesday.

Just Rich and I and 4 boys so we had to do "Boy stuff" but it was fun! We went and played Lazar tag, went to jump street two times (video below), did some shopping, ate at some great restaurants and then did a tour of Chase field.

It went by really fast but we got a lot in in those two days.

Special day...

Today was a special day for Austin

He was able to go through the Temple

Time flys.....

My Sweet little Babies have grown up right before my Eyes

I can hardly believe they are 12 years old today!

It's really just not possible because I'm sure they were just born the other day....

and now...they are headed to 6th grade, Invited to attend Mutual, Being ordained Deacons, Passing the sacrament, can go to the temple, are almost in Jr high and almost teenagers!

when did they grow up? they still look like taller versions of the very same boys in these pictures.

My Birthday Boy...

On our way home from Vegas

 I was able to stop in Kingman and see my Baby

who just turned 22 over the weekend!!!

It was such a Joy to see him.

Its only the 2nd time I have seem him since he left for school in August!!!

This is his cute little girlfriend Charlotte!

Vegas

Took the exchange kids to Vegas last weekend.

We had a good trip and a lot of fun.

It was good for me to get to spend time with My goooooood Friends Wendy and Curtis.

First we stopped at the Hoover Dam and had alittle tour.

This was interesting and I had never been there

While we were in Vegas we went at a group to see

The Blue Man Group

the kids really enjoyed it.

I had seen it before but it never disappoints

We had great seats right up front

so they all had to wear plastic rain ponchos

that was super fun but not as good as the televised version

and NO we did not get to

"come on down"

But Joey Fatone was the host so that was kinda cool
