Yep! And it happened right in our own backyard! We got about 3 inches of rain in about 30 minutes. The entire town of Lakeside's water ran right through our yard!...or at least it seemed that way. We were up to our knees in water at one point. Looking at the marks on the fence this morning it looks like it was up round 12 inches. Our neighbors house (that sits at ground level) was flooded in the garage, laundry room and two bedrooms. Luckily we are up on cinder blocks. It ran like a river! it was CRAZY!! We had to open up all the gates and get all the pine needles out of the way and let it flow! And the Brimhalls fence split wide open!!!! (you can see more pictures on their blog)

Holy Cow that is a lot of rain...which I miss. Enjoy the oh so wonderful rain for us. (Minus the mud, I hate mud)
Oh my gosh! You got some great pictures of the flood. Mine seem insignificant compared to yours. Wow! How did the garden do through all this?
